Man fights for life after 40ft fall from apartment

A MAN in his 20s was fighting for his life yesterday after falling nearly 40ft from an apartment building onto a concrete yard.

The man was found unconscious in a pool of blood by a passerby at a courtyard at the rear of a flat at North Main Street in Bandon, Co Cork.

The passerby made the discovery at 9.10am and immediately contacted the emergency services.
