Calling all music fans and thrill seekers

A MAJOR music festival and a 36-hour, non-stop endurance race are to take place on the Cork/Limerick border over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Music-lovers will be relishing this year’s Indiependence festival in Mitchelstown, which will feature more than 60 bands including The Blizzards, Fred, Director, Delorentos, and Mundy.

They will line up alongside international acts like Ocean Colour Scene and Super Furry Animals for a two-day festival that is sure to draw music buffs from all over Ireland.
