FIANNA FÁIL and Green ministers have blamed the Government’s failure to communicate with the public for their parties’ disastrous election results.

Their comments will be seen as an admission that Taoiseach Brian Cowen’s communications strategy is not working.

As the fallout from the devastating results for both parties continued, Defence Minister Willie O’Dea and Communications Minister Eamon Ryan said the coalition had failed to convince people that its policies were the right ones.
