Basking in the sun outside the Nutgrove Shopping Centre, his campaign was looking bright as he handed out leaflets, pressed the flesh and got a positive response from voters who promised to remember him at the ballot box on Friday.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the George Lee-mobile pulls up in front of his nose and out hops the candidate who instantly steals the limelight and the attention of voters.
