FG ‘game playing’ over SF deal talk
As Enda Kenny dismissed remarks by his director of elections that Fine Gael could work with the republicans, Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams said the spat “may well be” deliberate political game playing by the main opposition party.
Justice Minister Dermot Ahern also seized on the row saying it would be “stomach churning” for what he called the self-styled party of law and order to form a pact with SF.
