TWO THIRDS of households have a home computer and over 1.5 million people use a computer every day, or almost every day.

Figures released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) also show that almost one and a quarter million people are buying goods or services online every year.

Travel and holiday accommodation are the most common purchases, followed by tickets for events.
