THE Government partners moved to dispel any talk of a split after a weekend when the blueprint for their two-year-old agreement was called into question.

The Green Party said the prospect of renegotiating the Programme for Government was on the table for some time and its stance was not an indication of dissatisfaction with Fianna Fáil.

Communications Minister Eamon Ryan said a new document would be prudent given the economic problems: “We are not seeking ways of leaving Government, we are looking for ways of making Government work better.”
