TUBRIDY’S LATE LATE DATE

TO whom it concerns, Ryan Tubridy has been chosen as the new host of the world’s longest running live TV chat slot, The Late Late Show.

Inside every thin man there’s a fat one demanding elbow room, but 35-year-old Tubridy has bumped and shouldered into the Friday night television room instead.

After being given the news yesterday by RTÉ bosses, the radio and TV personality said the appointment was “daunting, exciting, exhilarating and humbling”.
