FG tipped to win two Dáil seats up for grabs

IN addition to the local and European elections on June 5, two Dáil vacancies will be filled.

The vacancies were caused by the deaths of former Fianna Fáil minister Seamus Brennan, who represented the Dublin South constituency, and former Independent TD, Tony Gregory, who represented Dublin Central.

In reality, the Government has virtually no chance in either, both for historical reasons and because of the current economic turmoil.
