Former Irish Nationwide senior executive settles dismissal claim

A FORMER senior executive of Irish Nationwide has settled her claim for constructive dismissal against the building society.

The Employment Appeals Tribunal in Dublin heard yesterday that loan supervisor Olivia Greene had reached a settlement with her former employer without the need for a public hearing.

The agreement between both sides will come as a relief for Irish Nationwide chief executive Michael Fingleton as the case could have revealed further embarrassing information about his controversial approval of high-risk loans.
