Man’s body recovered after car found in river

GARDA divers have recovered the body of a 33-year-old man whose car had been found earlier in a river in Co Cork.

Garda divers discovered the body of David O’Donoghue in the River Bandon, nearly 3km south-east of Innishannon.

The discovery was made at 3.15pm yesterday, a day after Mr O’Donoghue’s disappearance.
