THE message needs to go out about a new-found confidence in Catholic education in this country, a clerical educationalist said yesterday.

Fr Seamus Enright was speaking at the opening of the €10 million St Clement’s Redemptorist College in Limerick. It replaces a college which dates to the 1850s.

Fr Enright, who is chairman of the school’s board of management, said Catholic education would serve the country for a long time to come.
