New generation of drug thugs sparks second gang war in feud-hit area

A NEW generation of violent young criminals has sparked a second gang war in an area already blighted by a deadly feud.

There have been six shootings, three arson attacks, at least five incidents of criminal damage and a number of bomb scares in the Crumlin-Drimnagh area of south Dublin in an 18-day period.

Two rival gangs of youths are behind the terrifying upsurge in violence.
