Disadvantaged area given a ‘voice’ as students launch local newspaper

JOURNALISM students at the University of Limerick have given a new “voice” to Moyross.

They yesterday brought out the first edition of a newspaper for the disadvantaged area in the city.

The freesheet paper, The Moyross Voice, is one of the first on-campus newspapers produced by university students in Ireland for a local community.
