Sinn Féin commemorates 90th Dáil anniversary with fresh call for unity

SINN Féin commemorated the 90th anniversary of the first meeting of the Dáil yesterday with a renewed call for Irish unity.

Party president Gerry Adams said partition had “distorted and stunted the economic and political potential of the island”.

He announced that Sinn Féin would hold two conferences in the US this year to discuss with “Irish-America how we can advance a united Ireland campaign”.
