Court rejects stall trader’s application

Court rejects stall trader’s application

Evidence was given by Dublin city fire officer Ann Fegan that in recent years there were concerns about the use of petrol/diesel generators being used by stall holders in Henry Street.

Mr Justice Michael Peart, turning down the interlocutory injunction application, said it was unfortunate the matter should come before the court so soon before Christmas. He expressed the hope that for the future some sensible arrangement might be put in place.

Caroline Kelly BL made the application on behalf of Sarah Grace, Bovale Park, Artane, Dublin, on the grounds that up to 20 traders were affected by the council’s decision.
