Labour and Sinn Féin seek reprieve for homeowners

A MOTION will come before the Dáil this evening demanding a reprieve for people struggling to meet mortgage repayments.

The Labour party and Sinn Féin have teamed up to put a set of proposals together to address the problems faced by homeowners.

These include a moratorium on home repossessions and the construction of 10,000 social houses every year for the next three years.
