‘A massive chunk has been taken from our lives’

BRIAN ROSSITER’S mother Siobhán said the only way to describe the past six years “is to say that a big massive chunk has been taken from our lives”.

“We will know after today if we’ve dealt with it or grieved properly, because we had so much legal stuff going on. No parent should have to attend their own child’s inquest. The only way to describe the last six years is to say that a big massive chunk has been taken from our lives,” Siobhán Rossiter said speaking outside the courthouse.

Fighting back tears, Brian’s father, Pat Rossiter, said the past six years have taken an enormous toll on the family. And he admitted that it was a grave mistake to leave his son in Clonmel Garda Station that fateful night.
