Department to ‘make submission’ to Moriarty

THE Department of Communications has confirmed it will make a submission to the Moriarty Tribunal after receiving provisional findings about its role in the inquiry.

In a statement last night the Department said it had received a copy of the tribunal’s provisional findings on the awarding of a mobile phone licence to Esat Digifone.

It also confirmed there were findings made in relation to the Department of Communications.
