Cinderella Cowen can’t avoid questions about princely sums

TAOISEACH Brian Cowen had not been seen in such a hurry since he legged it out of the Dáil to see Munster play the All Blacks at the official opening of Thomond Park last month.

On that occasion, he jogged up the steps out of the Dáil chamber to jet off for an evening of historic celebration.

Yesterday it seemed he wanted leaders’ questions time to end before the onset of the evening of historic commiserations.
