Wedding planner to help draw a festive crowd

FLAMBOYANT wedding planner ‘Franc’ has been engaged to help attract Christmas shoppers to Cork city.

Peter Kelly, the man behind the internationally renowned Weddings by Franc, has agreed to play a key role in a major month- long city council initiative to boost Christmas trade.

The man, who starred in the hugely popular TV series, Brides of Franc, will design a spectacular Fountain of Wishes in a city centre park which will be transformed into a winter wonderland-style attraction.
