Landslide site cordoned off

The early morning incident affected a private road serving three homes off Grattan’s Hill, above the Lower Glanmire Road and the Cork to Cobh railway track.

A portion of a retaining wall running alongside the road collapsed spewing a large mound of earth, stones and rocks on to the road. There were no injuries.
