Prostitutes cut prices in ‘credit crunch specials’

ENTERPRISING prostitutes are battling the recession by dropping their prices to keep business up.

Cut-price offers are springing up on online escort message boards offering a variety of services for discounted prices.

One escort dubbing herself ‘sexy Naomi’ has slashed her price for an hour of sex to €200.

The blonde 25-year-old, who describes herself as having a ‘magnetic personality’, posted a message on the message board in which she said: “1 HOUR €200 — Only till Recession finished”.

While €200 for such a short period of time may sound excessive, but the usual price an escort will charge for that length of ‘service’ is up to €400.

In fact the usually British-based prostitute is obviously not so pessimistic about the financial crisis in her native country.

Clients in Britain can still expect to pay ‘sexy Naomi’ up to £300 (€380) for an hour of her time.

Meanwhile, Norwegian prostitute Angelina in Castlebar who usually charges up to €200 for half an hour of sex and €300 for an hour has also reduced her rates to €130 per half hour and €230 per hour.

‘Lil miss naughty’ in Dublin said she was offering a ‘credit crunch special’ of 15 minutes of sex for €70.

Punters on the website appeared very excited about sexy Naomi’s offer.

“This is the best offer I have seen. Do you ever come to Waterford,” wrote Feargal.

His fellow crystal county resident, ‘Kazgar’ was also excited: “We definetly (sic) need more girls of your class in Waterford. in response to your sales pitch what about 15 min quickies for 100 euro.”

The women, and a handful of men, can publish their services on the sites because while it is illegal to advertise prostitution in this country, the websites are hosted outside Ireland and so the operators cannot be prosecuted.
