Fine Gael: clear leadership is lacking

THE Government is failing to provide clear leadership to steer the country through the economic crisis, Fine Gael claimed last night.

The party’s deputy leader, Richard Bruton, said there would soon be 100,000 extra people on the dole facing massive uncertainty about their future.

Businesses were also struggling, and some solid firms would be forced to close because of the deteriorating economic climate, he said.
