No agreement in Aer Lingus jobs talks

The board met behind closed doors for nine hours to discuss a plan which is believed to involve the axing of up to 1,500 jobs from the cabin crew, ground crew and catering staff at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.

Sources said after the meeting that the deliberations were not conclusive and further talks would be held.
