Everybody’s going to be surfin’ Tramore

THE long-awaited first ever Oceanics Surf and Sea Festival is almost here with the countdown in Tramore nearing an end.

Tomorrow and Sunday will feature a full programme of events including ladies-only surf activities and a family fun day on the second day of the festival.

Sunday’s fun day includes free activities on Tramore beach from 11am, open to all, such as eco-walks; kite surfing exhibitions; kite building; martial arts; beach volleyball; rock-climbing and abseiling; workshops on the many uses of seaweed; history sessions; and more.
