Dell trying to sell factories, says paper

A REPORT in yesterday’s Wall Street Journal claiming Dell is trying to sell off its plants worldwide has triggered alarm in Limerick, where the company employs more than 3,000 people.

Up to 3,000 more jobs in the city are also dependent on the company.

Dell’s Limerick spokeswoman said: “We do not comment on rumour or speculation.”
