A POLISH man has been charged with dangerous driving following the death of a 25-year-old woman last weekend.

Lukasz Lachowski, of 1 Edward Court, Edward Street, Kilmallock, Co Limerick, has appeared at Mallow District Court charged with dangerous driving at the junction of Gearney’s Boreen and the Commons Road, Cork, on August 24.

Legal executive Gillian Drinan, from Church View, Ballincollig, Co Cork, died as a result of the crash.
