Retired English couple killed in crash

A COUPLE who died yesterday in a head-on crash with a truck were originally from England, but retired a few years ago to live in south Limerick.

William Chapman, 60 and his wife, Sarah Jane, 59, died after the car in which they were travelling collided with the truck on the main Mitchelstown to Limerick road, near the village of Ballylanders.

The popular couple had been living in the nearby village of Garryspillane.
