Private clinic scaled back

THE backers of a private €100 million clinic at Adare Manor want to reduce the scale of the development by nearly one third.

Owners of the manor, Adare Partners, whose main principals are Tom and Judy Kane, have submitted a revised planning application to Limerick County Council seeking a reduction of the hospital area from 30,000sq m to 21,000sq m.

The clinic will be built on a 23-acre site within the manor grounds.
