Jailed puppy row killer ready to give birth

SECURITY staff at the women’s prison where Galway woman Una Black this week began a nine-year sentence for manslaughter, were on high alert as she may give birth as early as this week.

And Black’s own mother has called for her daughter to be allowed care for her soon-to-be born baby in prison.

Geraldine Black, mother to Una, revealed that the baby is a girl who will be called Nicole.
