‘No more bull’ warns Macroom bypass group as it steps up fight

NO MORE bull — deliver the bypass.

That’s the message to the Government from a new lobby group, which will mount a high-visibility campaign tomorrow targeting bank holiday motorists driving through their congested town.

National Road Authority figures show that about 35,000 vehicles passed through Macroom in Co Cork during the 2007 August bank holiday weekend.
