Murder hunt launched as dead man believed strangled

GARDAÍ believe a father of three found dead on his living room floor was strangled.

A murder hunt was launched after a postmortem result confirmed Denis Brennan, 60, was murdered. Exact details of the examination of the Dublin man’s body were being withheld for operational reasons.

It is understood though that clear marks were found on the man’s neck, suspected of being made by hands.
