A CLAIM in court by a young Limerick mother that she found her husband in bed with her mother was discredited last night.

The prison service confirmed Fiona Porter’s husband was serving a sentence in Limerick jail at the time. But the story saved Ms Porter from a jail sentence.

Legal sources said last night she may face contempt proceedings.
