Judge seeks details on Lynn bankers’ bonuses

HIGH Court president Mr Justice Richard Johnson said he wants to know the details of bonuses given to bank officials who paid the millions in loans to missing solicitor Michael Lynn.

The judge was speaking during an application by the Law Society to have €1 million transferred from Mr Lynn’s frozen client account to the society’s compensation fund.

Mr Justice Johnson remarked that at the outset of the court actions, he had asked about the bank officials who approved loans.
