Residents endure sleepless nights over ‘boy racers’
Boy and girl racers in “souped up” cars have been, attracted to Kerry for years, with their antics resulting in calls for a crackdown from sleepless, angry locals.
However, there’s noise now most weekends, according to Independent Killarney Councillor Donal Grady. Highlighting the issue at a town council meeting, he proposed a bylaw be introduced preventing loud noises from cars after 11pm so that “excess noise level can be brought down to legal noise level”.
