Top stylist Annie a cut above the rest

HEADING the poll in one of the highlights of the ‘coiffure calendar’ is a Dungarvan stylist who has been named as Ireland’s favourite hairdresser.

Annie Power from New Images Salon in the Co Waterford town streaked ahead of opposition from Cork, Donegal and Dublin to lift the crown and will soon be jetting off to London to style against the best that Britain has to offer.

Hundreds of hairstylists throughout the country were nominated by grateful clients. A panel of expert judges including Mellissa Brown, the Head & Shoulders brand ambassador who also lists Take That, Dannii Minogue and Davina McCall as her clients, whittled down the numbers to five Irish finalists.
