Five arrested in connection with shooting of six-year-old

FIVE people were arrested yesterday in connection with the shooting of a six-year-old girl in Limerick city last weekend.

The four men and one woman were being held at a number of stations throughout Limerick.

The girl was injured in what was thought to be a feud-related attack while she was playing near her home in the Lilac Court estate, Southill, last Saturday afternoon.
