Summer cinema beckons us indoors

WE MAY have the perfect excuse for staying indoors this summer and dodging sunburn, windburn or insect bites — a clutch of cinema blockbusters is hitting the screen over the next few months.

Indiana Jones IV, Batman: the Dark Knight, Kung Fu Panda and a sequel to the Chronicles of Narnia are among the big films scheduled for release this summer to keep families entertained.

And for older teens and girly girls everywhere this summer’s obligatory chick-flick is the movie version of the hit TV serial, Sex and the City.
