Priest warns of ‘danger all around’

CITIZENS of Limerick need to be on the alert as danger is around them, a priest warned yesterday at the funeral of the latest feud victim.

Fr John Donworth, parish priest of Our Lady Queen of Peace, was addressing hundreds of mourners at the funeral of James Cronin, who was shot dead and buried near Janesboro soccer ground.

His body was discovered during a Garda search last Monday.
