A ROW centring on a single word left hundreds of school goers in Limerick, Clare, north Tipperary and south Galway without a bus service yesterday.

Bus Éireann condemned an unofficial stoppage by part-time school bus drivers, saying their wildcat action was carried out with no union backing.

Part-time school bus drivers mounted pickets at Bus Éireann’s depot in Limerick over their concern about the new contract which contained the words “fully flexible”.
