TECHNICAL problems with a train from Tralee to Blennerville have been resolved and the service will recommence in May.

Out of service since August 2006, a back-up diesel engine is in place to support engine number five in the steam train.

A visitor attraction, the line is Ireland’s most westerly piece of railway and the only steam line running daily during the tourist season.
