CASINO and gaming clubs in Ireland will have to comply with strict money laundering requirements under a bill published last night.

The cabinet yesterday gave Justice Minister Brian Lenihan the green light to bring forward legislation to transpose a third EU directive on money laundering.

The bill will bring gaming clubs, which have up until now been excluded, into the obligations of the acts.
