Gilligan’s ex-wife tells court she lives on €80 per week
Ms Gilligan, who said she legally separated from John in 1995, said the €5,000 per annum she receives from a man called Troy Jordan, a Kildare stud farm owner “for grass”, is her only source of income, which, she agreed, works out at around €80 per week.
On the fourth day of an application by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) to have its legal officer appointed as a receiver to Jessbrook in Enfield, Co Meath, and to other properties owned by the Gilligan family, Ms Gilligan was being cross-examined about a sworn statement she had made for the latest proceedings.
