WORKERS at the British Embassy will take to the streets for a day of protest next month over the forced redundancy of three men tasked with bringing British investment to the country.

The embassy in Ballsbridge, Dublin, is reducing the size of its trade and investment section here so that it can allocate the resources to “high growth markets” elsewhere.

The decision means three workers with 20 years experience between them are to lose their jobs.
