Irish artists a hit with fans

IRISH music fans are digging deep to keep home grown talent at the top of the charts.

Gennaro Castaldo, of HMV, said despite the hype in downloading tunes, consumers here are still snapping up singles.

“There’s a very strong culture in Ireland of people loving their music and their home grown bands,” said the head of press and PR.
