Weather threatens chaos at airports

IRISH airline passengers were warned of potential Christmas travel chaos last night after dense fog continued to disrupt British airports.

Thousands of passengers were stranded for hours at airports across the country yesterday after their flights to England were delayed.

Families here waiting to see their loved ones were also forced to wait after airline timetables were hit by the worst Christmas weather in Britain in a decade.
