Honorary masters recognises lifetime of service
University College Cork conferred an honorary MSc in applied science upon John Caffery, from Dublin Pike, just outside Cork city, during its winter conferring ceremonies.
Mr Caffrey spent almost 49 years at UCC as an employee and as a part-time undergraduate and postgraduate student.
