Man still being held over death in Limerick hotel
Her naked body was found in the bathroom of a room on the 11th floor where she went with a man early on Saturday morning.
Gardaí said she had been assaulted.
The funeral of Ms Roche-Kelly took place in Sixmilebridge yesterday.
The 23-year-old man in custody booked into the hotel at about 6pm on Friday and later met up with the mother of two from Sixmilebridge.
She had been separated from her husband and had come into Limerick that night with friends.
It is not known if she had arranged to meet up with the man she accompanied to the Clarion Hotel or whether it was a chance meeting.
Gardaí have investigated if they met through an internet dating site.
The man in custody was arrested in Co Tipperary on Tuesday and brought to Henry Street Garda Station for questioning.
His period of detention was extended by a further 12 hours yesterday.
While there were signs Ms Roche-Kelly had been assaulted, a postmortem was inconclusive as to the cause of her death. Gardaí are awaiting the results of further toxicology tests.
