THE man on trial for murdering his friend by stabbing him repeatedly in the neck threatened fellow school children with knives and scissors at the age of 11, it emerged yesterday.

It was also alleged yesterday that the 21-year-old man accused of murder was himself the victim of a sexual assault by a male babysitter when he was only four years old.

Blaise O’Carroll SC said the defendant, Keith Nagle, 21, of 15 Churchfield Green, Cork, was brought up in a terrifying environment where his alcoholic father John Nagle assaulted him.
